Can we all agree not to work today? I think few of us would dispute that moms are some of the hardest workers on earth, so in honor of Mother’s Day, let’s all take a well deserved break. I’ll go first: I am NOT cooking today. How will you take it easy today?

What do you do when you finally reach the end of a reeeeally long day? As for me, I look no further than my comfy PJ’s and my cup of relaxing tea. If I can, there’s take-out involved. How do you wash off the stress of a challenging day?

Here’s a little snapshot of me: I am a hairstylist in Oceanside California, who loves being a part of my clients hair journey just as much as I love my husband, Scott…which is a LOT! What do you love as much as the love of your life?

Raise your hand if your dreams have ALWAYS ended up the way you envisioned. Anyone? Yeah, me neither. But that’s all right with me, because I never would have dreamt that I’d meet my husband by just striking up a conversation about movies. It made me realize that I should never underestimate the power of conversation over movies. What unexpected dreams have you experienced?

First day of Spring!
How about we play a game? Where does everyone stand when it comes to spring cleaning? Are you: A. tidy all year long, B. definitely go ham on organization each spring, or C. not about it? Truth be told, I’m definitely B. I love starting fresh when the weather changes. Which one are you?

It must be the luck o’ the Irish that this year St. Patty’s falls on a Friday! This means I get to go to the pub and enjoy corn beef sandwich with ( the only time I might have a beer)! Happy St. Patrick’s day, y’all! Here’s to every rainbow leading you straight to a pot o’ gold. What are you up to today?

When I was a kid, I dreamt of being a unicorn, and why not, really? Can you name a more magical creature? When I think of it now, it makes a ton of sense to me, because when I didn’t grow up to become a unicorn, I DID turn into a hairstylist, which involves basic magic on a daily basis. Did you ever want an extra legs or magical powers when you were young? What did you want to be?
