I created this page to not only be a place where I could share my adventures of being a freelance makeup artist and esthetician, but also a forum to talk about new and exciting products that I like and a place for you to ask questions regarding ANYTHING about the cosmetic/beauty industry. All facials are customized to suit your skin care needs. I use certain modalities such as micro-current and galvanic depending on what I feel will benefit you the most. This is included is of no extra cost to you. CLEAN SWEEP $50
Quick, but effective facial along with a brow wax. This is perfect during your lunch break or for the gal on-the-go. Great to add onto any makeup package
TREAT YOURSELF $55
In this facial you will receive a thorough cleanse and exfoliation, skin analysis and masque. If you are tight on time or budget, you get the choice of extractions or a 10 minute massage. If you don't know which you would like, when we do the skin analysis I can tell you what you would benefit from the most. 1hr
WORKING GIRL $80
If you feel your skin needs some TLC, or you need a good deep clean or just want it all, then this is your facial. You get all of the above, with a longer massage. 70min
SO APPEELING $80/$95
This is a light peel that won't leave you with the results of looking sunburned; only a slight flaking will occur. Safe enough for all skin types and ethnicities. Depending on your reasons for getting a peel, you usually need to do a series of them for conditions such as hyperpigmentation, acne, rosacea or anti-aging. (Please see Beauty Bonuses below). Before any chemical peel, you need to have a consultation facial so we can choose the skin care strategy especially for you. 1hr

Products from the Dermalogica AGEsmart line are used in the facial. These products are specialized for dry or prematurely aging skin. Anyone 30 and older can benefit from these products. Filled with ingredients to increase cell turnover rate and exfoliation, you will leave with a glow in your skin. Great for special events! 70min

I have a hard time finding reds that look good on me due to my hair and skin color and the pH in my lips changes everything to go brighter than usual.
This one is the first one I’ve been able to wear so I thought I’d share due the good cause and the shade. It’s a mid-tone plum red.
Satin finish, matte lip, gloss. And yes, I bought all 3. Hannigan may be making a shade change this Christmas.

My favorite post makeup SPF reapplication is at Costco. Get three for the price of 1.3 of them. OR for $20 more - get 2 for free. However your brain wants to do the math. It’s a deal no matter which way you cut it. 🌞

I forgot to post these. It was take your “daughter” to work day on set of this TV pilot for my friend to shop around. Lovely crew and talent. And Maggie was really great onset. Every time someone came downstairs she greeted them. She really should work at Wal-Mart.

I’m stoked about sharing this. It’s all I’ve known and have tried to share but in a concise package that is easily understandable and effective. This is a really informative documentary about the cosmetic/hygiene industry with information and data that has been around a long while, but stuffed down by big corporations.
I know, shocker.
I like that it breaks down skin, makeup, hair and nails in their own episode.
Bottom line - the US is theost behind country when it comes to ingredients that are allowed in personal products. The US excludes 11. The UK and other countries exclude 1,300. 😳
Watch this. Inform yourself. Make better cleaner choices because…to quote L’Oreal…you’re worth it.

Just another example of how eyebrow shaping, grooming or filling in can change your face and eyes drastically. It may take a moment to adjust but it will get better. I’ve had to give brow pencils to my brides to practice until the wedding. You would have thought I made them look like Groucho. But when you’re in a big reflector (white wedding dress) the details matter and you’ll look washed out otherwise. It will look “off”.
