Covid has been tough on so many people as well as businesses. One thing I am thankful for is each and every one of you. Even though Hairtique has been shut down three times, I am able to come back stronger because of the support and referrals from each of you. I am blessed to call each of you my Hairtique family. Basic steps for a good newsletter

Step 1: Audience and Topic
The first thing you should do is consider your audience and pick a topic that will connect with them. Something personal and relevant to your business is always good.

Step 2: Proofreading
Next, make sure your content is accurate. If you’re discussing a particular topic, don’t be afraid to reference your sources. It builds credibility with your audience. Proofreading everything is also critical. Don’t just check for grammar errors, but review the language you use for consistency of tone and voice.

Step 3: Call-to-Action
Finally, include a call-to-action, either a link to your website or social media page, or some additional reading. You’ve got your customers attention, so take advantage of it.

We have some updates

Dear Hairtique By Bobi community,

Here we are again another shut down, we are definitely getting good at this. Hopefully, the third time is a charm. With that being said, I can not thank each and every one of you enough for standing by me during these crazy times.

Just like all our other shut downs I am available to deliver any product that you may need. Don't forget products are a wonderful item to use as stocking stuffers. I have colored dry shampoo sprays as well as all your Olaplex, Amika and Kenra items. If there is a specialty item please let me know.

As of now we are supposed to reopen Dec 28th. I do not believe that date to be accurate. I am hoping to be up and running by January 12th. Fingers Crossed!!!

For those of you with appointments in January you will continue to receive reminders. I am not going to cancel them. Lets stay positive! I will be calling and texting to confirm or reschedule appointments. I will contact everyone a couple days before. I will be using the same rescheduling method as before, those canceled first, rescheduled first. I believe that is the best way to handle getting everyone back in.

Once we are reunited at Hairtique, I will be sanitizing and disinfecting in the same manner. We will still need to wear our masks in the proper manner. Cover those noses friends. lol. We all hate the masks but if they help or if there is a chance they help, lets wear them. Your safety is my top priority. You are all very important to me.

I wish we could all meet up at Hairtique before the holidays to wish each other a merry one, however just know I will be thinking of all of you.

We have some updates

Dear Hairtique By Bobi community,

Well here we are a month in and not a lot of news to share. Hairtique partnered with our Sola family are doing everything possible to reopen. Sola put together a few peaceful protest with the hope of getting our industry back to work. Sola even went as far as going directly to the Capitol in Sacramento. During these protest our Sola family made sure that social distancing was enforced as well as masks, gloves and aprons were worn. A few stylists wore shields and other protective gear too. Safety was key during these protests.

We thought that Hairtique and all other Sola members would be back at work by now. We are not sure how long this will last, we just need to stay positive. Please call Hairtique with any questions or concerns.

If anyone has seen on Facebook or the news that our industry is reopening regardless of what the Governor says as of August 17, 2020, please realize I would love to. Sola is not allowing us to get back to work until the State reopens our industry. Although this is frustrating I support Sola's decision. I would love to reopen but Sola has been so supportive to their renters that I have to follow their wishes. I feel blessed being a part of the Sola family. If I wouldn't have made this move, my situation would have been quit different. Please call me if you have any questions regarding Hairtique waiting for the state to reopen us.

If you are running out of product or need something to hold over your color please give me a call, I can deliver to you. I am making a delivery tomorrow if anyone needs anything. I will be down in Vista/Oceanside area around 1:30 p.m.

We’ve made some changes due to COVID-19

Dear Hairtique By Bobi,

Well here we are again, round 2 of Hairtique's close down. We made it through one time, we can do it again. I am so sorry for any inconvenience this may be causing anyone. I will be sending out emails whenever I receive information, no matter big or small. Please be on the look out for them. If you are on Facebook please friend Hairtique by Bobi or Instagram , I will be posting updates there as well.

I will be contacting everyone week by week this time. Rumors are that we will not be shut down as long. Fingers crossed this is accurate information.
Sola is really going to battle for us, more so than last time. Austin was on NBC7 explaining how we are educated by California State Board on Sanitizing and Disinfecting our Studios, implements, and equipment. He has started a petition to get us reopened ( please sign its on my page), and has had each of his 600 stylists write letters to the Governor. In our letters to the Governor he has asked us to state what we do between each client to ensure their safety. We all know that is a lengthy letter, quite a few of you have had your appointments start an hour late because of cleaning. I am sorry for running behind but I would do it again and again to keep all of you safe.

As I stated I will be contacting everyone week by week, please keep your appointments until you hear from me. I would rather your appointments be on my books until I have to remove them and reschedule. I know some of you have not had your hair done from the first lock down. You will be my first priority when we reopen. I have a list with everyone's names that have been canceled and will be contacting each of you with a new date. I will be rescheduling as I did last time. I feel rescheduling as you were canceled is the fairest way. I was pleased how smooth it ran last time.

When Hairtique reopens it will be cleaned in the same manner. Hairtique will offer a safe and clean environment that is sanitized in between clients. Masks will be worn, temperature checks may be implemented, hand sanitizer is available to use and purchase, implements and equipment will be disinfected and sanitized between appointments and air purifiers will be running quietly.

I will deliver any products that you may need as well. Text me to place an order. Whatever you may need, I will get it to you. The continued integrity of your hair is my main concern.

It is so great to be back!

Welcome back to all of Hairtique's wonderful clients. Wow, how amazing it feels to be back at work. I just wanted to take time to thank each and every one of you for all your support. We are living in different times right now and navigating thru our new norm has been an adventure. Hairtique has a new way of disinfecting and sanitizing, which is taking quite a bit longer in between appointments. Being the owner of Hairtique I will do everything in my power to keep everyone safe. Which could come with appointments starting later than expected, which we know has happened. I can't thank all of you enough for the patience you are giving me when your appointments are starting later than promised. I am trying to figure out Hairtique's new normal and I am a work in progress.

Another new norm for Hairtique is locked front doors. Don't forget to text me when you arrive so I can let you in. Please do not enter if another stylist states they will let you in. We can get in trouble for having our clients waiting in the common areas. A few of my clients have been let in by others and this is against all of Sola's rules and regulations per Covid guidelines. Thank you so much for understanding, we all want Hairtique to remain open.

With the doors remaining locked at all times that stops Hairtique from getting walk in referrals from clients. I appreciate all of your referrals and would love for each of you to give my phone number to possible new clients.

Once again, thank you for your continued loyalty. All of your support has made this transition easier than I would have thought it ever could be.

We’ve made some changes due to COVID-19

Dear Hairtique By Bobi community,

We at Hairtique have made a few changes to how our visits take place. We have sent out a serious email regarding it, now we are just stating facts. Trying to make it easy on all of you.

• What are we doing differently onsite
1. One client at a time, unless you are family quarantined together.
2. Our doors are locked, you will need to text mus or contact Hairtique via Facebook messenger once you arrive. We will let you in.
3. We all must wear masks. No exceptions. If you do not have one, we have reusable ones you may borrow. These are laundered after every use. We do have a few disposable masks for sale $5.00 each (while supplies last)
4. Even though we have always kept our work space s**c and span, we will be sanitizing and disinfecting with an EPA registered and approved products between each client. Everything from the chair, counters, shampoo bowl, door k***s etc.. will be cleaned in between appointments.
5. Hand sanitizer will be in our studio to use before our appointment begins. You may go into the restroom to wash your hand if needed.
6. All of our implements will be disinfected and sanitized with an EPA approved product after every client.
7. One chemical/cutting cape will be used per each client.
8. Please do not bring children with you unless they are getting a service done. We can not have extra people in our salons.
9. We have removed all magazines and items that are unable to be disinfected or sanitized.
10. Please bring a minimal amount of items with you. This will help keep our salon as clean as possible.
11. Any questions reach out to Hairtique, we are here to make your appointment safe as well as wonderful.


• Hairtique has moved into its own studio within the same Sola building. We are now in Studio 16, middle aisle last studio on the right. This is such an exiting time. We will be able to have control to maintain the cleanest of environments. Hairtique's days of operation are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday . The first week we will not be in Monday and will be in on Wednesday. For the future if anyone is desperate to get in earlier We will have Wednesdays and Fridays available for premium pricing at 1.5x your service charge. Premium price days are just available for those in need of Hairtique coming in on our day off. Don't worry if you were booked on a Wednesday without being told about Premium pricing you are not going to be charged extra.

• For those of you coming in for color services we wanted to let you know this appointment will be a little more than usual. Hairtique will be using 3x the color to correct the regrowth of three months or more depending on the service you have. Questions or concerns please contact Hairtique at 760-522-5024.
