Today I started reading Treating the Face: A Comprehensive Guide for Acupuncturists and Health Professionals by Michelle Gellis, and I couldn’t be more excited.
Even after more than 20 years in practice, one of my greatest joys is continuing to learn. Every book, every course, and every patient teaches me something new.
This September I’ll be traveling to Boulder, Colorado, to study with Michelle Gellis in her advanced facial acupuncture program, and this book is the perfect way to begin preparing.
My passion has always been helping people feel healthy, vibrant, and confident—not by chasing perfection, but by supporting the body’s natural ability to heal and age beautifully.
I’ll be sharing pearls of wisdom and practical insights as I read, so if you’re curious about facial acupuncture, holistic skin health, or the incredible connection between inner wellness and outer radiance, I’d love for you to follow along.

How could I not share this one!! Facial Cosmetic Acupuncture is so much more that just needles.

I needed
A quick nervous system resent. This medicine is so amazing. Feeling calmer, grounded and more centered already.

One of the conditions I love treating most is anxiety and nervous system dysregulation.

Why do I still love what I do at 70 years old?

Every morning, I wake up excited to go to work.

I know that my patients are coming into Oceanside Healing Center, and I know that many of them have been carrying stress, pain, worry, or simply the weight of life.

What I love most is that I have the time to truly be present with them.

In today’s world, so many healthcare appointments feel rushed. But here, people have the opportunity to slow down, unwind, reset, and reconnect with themselves.

One of the greatest privileges of my life is witnessing transformation. Sometimes it’s a reduction in pain. Sometimes it’s better sleep. Sometimes it’s a patient finding the courage to make a difficult life change.

I never get tired of watching people heal.

I’m also excited about this next chapter of my career. I’m continuing my advanced training in facial acupuncture because helping women age with grace, confidence, and vitality brings me so much joy.

And perhaps most of all, I love the community we’ve built at Oceanside Healing Center.

Every day, I have the privilege of connecting with extraordinary people and supporting them as they create healthier, happier lives.

At 70 years old, I still love what I do because it matters.

And because helping people heal still fills my heart.
