Let’s talk gorgeous gorgeous BLONDES and SPRAY TANS.

My babies, wear the hairnet. I would even go as far as saying keep the hairnet on until you rinse. The DHA in any solution is known to get all up in those pretty blonde locks and live there rent free. Now you have Orange undertones and nobody is happy about it.

Blondes who spray tan are known to need touch ups more often than those who don’t but a PRO TIP in saving your bleached dream is as follows: Do your best to wear your hair up as much as you possibly can the week following your spray. Also, stay heavily moisturized all over (I’m talking the back of your neck, shoulders, arms, chest, alladat) to seal in that tan and act as a barrier between your hair and your spray. That will help save your hair from soaking in the spray tan ✨

The shadowed areas on the faces pictured are sun damage picked up by a uv lens. Anyone can can be a victim of skin cancer. One of the biggest reasons I got into this industry was to promote skin safety to communities that aren’t nearly as well versed as white communities with protecting our skin. Skin cancer actually runs in my family and and it has affected so many of us. Skin safety is something that isn’t widely dissed in POC/BIPOC communities and that needs to change. We actually are at a higher risk of dying from skin cancer because its harder to detect on us. Stay of if the tanning booths, wear a hat at the beach, and for the love of baby Jesus, wear some SPF daily no matter what skin tone you are. Thanks for this photo series
