Meet the happiest temple guardians I’ve ever found 😄🙏
Dvarapalas are the equivalent of Foo dogs, temple warriors meant to ward off evil spirits and protect everything sacred inside. They should be fierce. Intimidating. These guys didn’t get that memo.
Look at those faces. They’re smiling. After 26 years I’ve never found a pair with this kind of jolly energy and honestly someone out there is going to love them just as much as I do.
The moss, the patina, the oldness of the stone — they look like they just walked out of a Southeast Asian temple. Put them at your front door, your driveway, your garden entrance. That’s exactly where they belong.
Happy Dvarapalas have arrived. 🪨😄🙏
Two years in the making. Worth every single day 🙏
This is Brahma, the Hindu god of creation. His four faces look out in the four cardinal directions — north, south, east, west — each one representing one of the four sacred Vedas. To carve four faces is to carve four statues. You can feel that when you stand in front of him.
I placed this order with the artist two years ago and just watched it arrive. The stone is organic, natural, the veins running through it making every inch of him feel alive.
He belongs in the center of a garden where every side can be appreciated. Because every side is sublime.

A new container just landed from Java, Indonesia 🚢
Every piece you’re seeing was hand carved from a single block of stone by artists who are alive and working today. When you choose hand carved, you’re not just buying a statue. You’re supporting a family, a craft, a tradition that’s still breathing.
You’ll never get that from a factory mold on Amazon or Etsy. The imperfections, the moss, the character in every face, that’s what real stone looks like when a real person made it. Why would you want anything else?

Just look at these faces 🙏
Hand carved Buddhas, each from a single block of stone in Cambodia, every one seated in Dhyana Mudra, the meditation gesture. That slight smile at the corner of the lips gets me every time. How do you carve peace into stone like that?
Behind them, a pair of limestone Foo dogs from Vietnam, hand carved, standing guard as always.
And then there’s her. Phra Mae Thorani, carved from a single block of stone in Cambodia, nearly 7 feet tall. She represents the earth itself, wringing the water from her hair to wash away the forces of Mara. What a statement piece. Would you give her a spot in your space?

Just finished unpacking our latest shipment from Indonesia and this one has some really special pieces. A TriMuka Ganapati Ganesha with a mace I have genuinely never seen before. Temple guardian Varpalas that look like they belong outside a Balinese temple, complete with moss already growing on them. Garuda, Foo Dogs, Devi Tara, Buddha heads, and more.
That moss and patina you see on some of these pieces? That takes years to develop and it makes each one even more unique and irreplaceable. These aren’t factory pieces. They are quarried from a mountain in Java, Indonesia and shipped all the way to California. That is a massive undertaking and the result is something you simply cannot find anywhere else.
Everything you see here will be live on the site very soon. Stay tuned. 🌿
When everything clicks, you know you’re looking at a masterpiece. 🙏
This Cambodian sandstone Brahma is one of those pieces. Four handsome faces, minute detail work, a stunning dark stone that looks like it came out of an ancient temple, and a unique interlocking base built exactly the way temple sculptures were made centuries ago, no mortar, just precision.
Brahma statues of this quality are incredibly rare. If I had the wall space he would already be in my living room. 😄
You asked and we listened. 🙏
We’ve had so many customers ask about flower urns and bird baths for their outdoor spaces, so we went out and found some really beautiful ones. Hand-carved from Cambodian sandstone and Indonesian volcanic lava stone, each one is a one of a kind piece with incredible detail work on the sides.
The ways you can use these are endless. Fill them with water and floating flowers for a stunning garden feature. Drop in some floating votive candles when guests come over. Fill with sand and use them for incense. Or add a solar powered bubbler and you’ve basically got a standalone fountain. 🌸💧
These are not the terracotta pots everyone has in their backyard. These are unique, hand-carved, one of a kind pieces and we only have five of them. When they’re gone they’re gone.
This is why I do what I do. 🙏
This is a longtime customer and friend sharing behind his new Nirvana Buddha statue.
For him it wasn’t just a beautiful statue. It was a piece that spoke to where he is in his own life right now. A reflection. A reminder. Something deeply personal.
That’s the thing about the right piece finding the right person. It carries meaning that goes far beyond the object itself.
This bronze Nirvana Buddha came from Nepal, the very land where the Buddha was born, walked, taught, and passed. It now has a home in the most perfect place it could be. 🙏
This is what Lotus Sculpture is built on. Not transactions. Relationships. And pieces that mean something.
I first saw this Adi Yoga Shiva in Tamil Nadu and I just fell in love. That face…peaceful, blissful, a slight smile, none of Shiva’s destructive energy, just pure meditative presence. Carved from a single piece of Cambodian sandstone, he’s about 6.5 feet wide and 5.5 feet tall. Thick dreadlocks, a cobra resting on his shoulder, his third eye active but his whole being completely at rest. If you’re creating a calm, meditative space in your garden, this is the statue. 🙏
