Today, on World Autism Awareness Day, I want to take a moment to share something deeply personal. Many of you may not know this, but the reason I opened Style and Grace Beauty Bar was because of my amazing son, Richard. He is six years old, autistic, and the light of my life.

As a mother, I needed a career that allowed me the flexibility to be present for all his medical, emotional, and developmental needs while still pursuing my passion for beauty and self-care. Owning this salon has given me the ability to do both, and I owe so much of that to YOU—my wonderful clients and supporters. Every appointment you book, every service you trust me with, allows me to provide for my son while also fulfilling my dreams.

Autism awareness is more than just a day—it’s about understanding, acceptance, and support for the incredible individuals on the spectrum and the families who love them.
