From clogged to clear ✨
Blackhead related congestion can be normal in areas like the nose or T zone where sebum production is most notable.
But deep & large blackheads can form from a combination of excess build-up of debris & dead skin cells that get trapped from the friction of use of hats, head sets, or work protective goggles when no proper skincare routine is present.
It is imperative to note that this is not the moment to attempt to extractions at home; as dirty tools or finger tips can easily introduce bacteria into the pore causing the acne to worsen and spread bacteria!
⭐️for this client, I first applied Face Reality hydrating enzyme with steam, then removed and applied KrX Aesthetics USA pre-extraction mask with an occlusive sheet mask (no steam) to help further soften to allow the blackheads to come out with more ease.

A little life outtake for today 🤗
I can’t believe it’s already been a week since I came back home and I am beyond thankful to have had such a booked out week! ☺️🙏🏼
I don’t take time off frequently, but it was a joy to spend time with family last week in Arizona. Especially as it was the first time visiting without my Dad with us. It was also the first time going during summer as we usually go around October-December months in the past. To state that it was hot is an understatement; more like scorching heat 🥵😅.
I tried new things; like rock climbing & bouldering. Made new memories with my family. Revisited a part of me that I hadn’t in years: dance; when I took a ballet class for the first time in so long. And enjoyed the Death Cab for Cutie concert in Phoenix; they were amazing of course!
I didn’t fully take time off though. lol I did have some facial requests from my niece and her dad. 😂

✨What I’ve been using in Arizona✨
Climate differences does matter with skincare as the skin isn’t always going to behave the same.
What I’ve been doing differently:
Swapped my alternating toner routine of Face Reality Sal-C Toner & Soothing Radiance Toner to just Moisture Balance Toner for its moisture retaining properties.
Added Antioxidant Peptide serum for more antioxidant support & its hydrating and firming benefits
Lastly despite being on the oilier side, I’ve been layering Cran Peptide Cream with HydraCalm Mask at night to soothe, deeply nourish, and lock in moisture to prevent my skin from flaking as my face literally peeled right off during the first time I came to visit years ago.
