❗️Do you feel like your blonde gets yellow or brassy fast?
❗️Does your blonde feel dry or brittle days or weeks after you get it done?

⬇️ Here’s the breakdown on how to fix that!

✨you might have hard water that’s causing your blonde to become yellow or brassy. Try attaching a filter to your shower head (this can help). You can get them on Amazon
✨ We can also do a metal detox/hard water treatment at your next blonding appointment! This option does miracles to your blonde! I do this on my blonde and love and notice a big difference
✨ it is NORMAL to start seeing your blonde turn yellow after 4-5 weeks of your last appointment (this is the toner fading) Using purple shampoo once per week will get rid of unwanted yellow tones and neutralize your blonde color
✨ you MUST be using protein and moisture products to keep up with your blonde at home. When the hair gets lightened, the protein and moisture in the hair gets stripped out! Yes! That’s why it is crucial to be putting that protein and moisture back into the hair to have a healthy and shiny looking blonde
✨ HEAT PROTECTION is not an option. HIGH HEAT TEMPERATURE on your hot tools is not an option. You’ll take the blonde color right out/burning your hair (causing that yellow/brassy tone) with high heat and no heat protection. A safe temperature is between 300-360 degrees

One of the biggest reasons clients tell me their hair texture doesn’t feel the same and has changed from being blonde is because they’re not properly taking care of their hair at home.

I’ve had blonde hair for years. I used to struggle with these things but now I take extra care of my blonde. My hair feels softer, healthier, and color lasts longer

My first priority for ALL of my clients will be to make sure their Blonde is healthy! And yes unfortunately I will be that stylist that tells you your hair it too compromised to lighten. I love my clients and I care about your hair 💕

When your hair is one solid icy blonde color and you want to add dimension but don’t want dark lowlights, I gotchu! 👌🏼
You can add lowlights that are still a light color and not too dark. That’s what we did here and she still feels not only blonde but will have a more natural outgrowth 🙌🏼
