Velvet Strand Alchemy

Just need to do a little, “look how far I’ve come” post and toot my own horn a skosh. The first is from today as I’ve been doing extensions for 2 and a half years and the second was from the class.

I absolutely love this yearly tradition! This year rainbow was back on the poll and of course won! 🌈 💛

I just can’t get enough of hair! Let’s me play everytime and we had the fun idea to go yellow! 💛🖤

Got to play with this mamas hair and finally got to do a more “unnatural” color for the first time! ❤️

Love that lets me try new colors on her while we still shoot for the dark green. I had no idea how it was going to react on the blonde but now we know what to do! 😍💚 Also added a bunch of layers for a new style!

Custom colored Better Than Wefts by Cinderella Hair. After she had a ooopsy at a different salon causing her to chop most of her hair off, we added 18 beautiful inches!

RIP to my government-issued business name. You were honest. You were direct. You required zero explanation.

Same girl. Same scissors. Same borderline obsessive attention to doing your hair.
But now with a name that actually reflects what’s happening here… which is less “haircut” and more strategic transformation with a touch of chaos.

Color corrections? Transmutation.
Extensions? Length sorcery.
That moment when you say “just a trim” and leave a new version of yourself? Alchemy.

“Jen does the Hair” was practical.
Velvet Strand Alchemy is intentional… slightly dramatic… and deeply committed to the process.
