So the time has finally arrived to open.....

Thank you all for your patience and understanding during these crazy times we now call our lives.

I have started to reach out to clients that had pre-booked appointments to schedule. Please feel free to call and schedule as well.

I will of course be taking precautions for your health and mine. I will be adhering to the recommended sanitation procedures and disinfecting my salon between each and every guest. This requires extra time and spacing between guests. The salon has also been sprayed with *Microbe Free, a non chemical, but chemistry,science based product that is EPA registered. This product bonds to every surface providing 24/7 anti-microbial protection. (Microbefree.com) Information on this product is at the bottom of the post.

I am also Barbicide Certified as well as Barbicide COVID-19 Certified. Which simple stated means I have completed courses to have the best understanding of how to deal with COVID-19 in my salon as well as a refresher course of how to properly disinfect and sanitize.

I will be wearing a mask and ask if you are comfortable and okay with this practice to do so as well. I highly suggest it, but it will not be a mandatory requirement. If you do not have one, I will have them available for use. Behind the ear masks are the best and easiest for me to be able to work around.

I will be wearing gloves only for color application, and will be practicing frequent hand washing.

Hand sanitizer will be provided when entering the salon and required to use before sitting in my chair. The option of hand washing is also available as usual in the restroom if you prefer.

I ask that only you come to your appointment to keep the number of people enter the building to a minimum. Please do not come early to your appointment as that will be a cleaning time to allow for disinfectants to work correctly before your appointment.

If you have a fever, feel sick at all,or have been in contact with anyone with COVID-19 I ask that you please respectfully cancel your appointment to keep me and my other guests safe and healthy.

The take home area will be touch free at this time. If you need take home product I will be happy to grab and bag your products for you.

Payment options are the same. If you use a card you will be asked to read the card to me and will not require a signature at this time to limit touched surfaces.

Please leave all jackets, purses, and extra belongings in your vehicle and only bring in your phone and payment option.

I am so looking forward to catching up with you all and having amazing conversations about what you have loved and learned about yourself in these crazy times. I hope you have all found time to enjoy life’s little blessings. I sure have.

See you all soon....I’ll have my hedge trimmers sharpened and ready for some of you that will require the big dogs to get the job done.

Just a little post to let you all know where I am at with the salon opening up. I can give you only as much clarification as I have at the moment.

Retail stores have partially opened in Wisconsin under strict guidelines. I do, as you know, offer retail and can fill orders if anyone needs product at this time. Just reach out to me and I will be happy to make arrangements for pick up or delivery.

Our industry is not yet allowed to provide services of any kind and do not have a reopen date. Governor Evers has stated that the stay at home order will slowly be lifted starting May 26th. This will be done in three phases. I do not yet know what phase salons will be in therefore, I also do not have a reopen date. It is unlikely that salons will be opening on the May 26th date.

I know so many of you are really looking forward to getting your hair done. I am anxiously waiting some good news from the state. When a reopen date is established I will be reaching out to clients to rebook. I will be rescheduling in the order that you were scheduled. I will not be able to double book unless you are immediate family. I will be extending my hours and days, but am only able to work so many hours in a day. Please be patient with me. I will be doing my best to get you all in. There will be new protocol as well as how the salon will operate. Since again we don’t have clarification on how exactly that will look, I will keep you posted in future posts.

I hope you are all enjoying some down time, taking care of yourselves, staying healthy, and at least washing your hair once a week. Hope to see you soon.

Hello to my favorite quarantine guests! Well, we all know the mandate has been extended till May 26th. Hard times for all of us. I know that a lot of you were struggling already with you hair, but one more month.....you can do it! 🤞🏻😁🤦🏼‍♀️ I hope you are taking this time to relax and take care you and your families. I know I am. Crafts, house projects, yard work, family games, family dinners, zoom game nights with family and friends. Been a breath of fresh air for me. I know that I am truly blessed with the family and husband I have. He has been working non stop at home since the first week. I am truly thankful for him, as without him there would be no money left in the accounts. God’s blessings, yet again. I thank all you front line worker. The list of you is too long. I have two very close friends and many clients who are in the hospital systems. THANK YOU!!! Your stories tell the scary truth and I appreciate you. It has been nice to talk with some of you on the phone and via text. It means the world to me to know that I have so many amazing people in my life.

As for the salon, I am working out the best way to reopen and to follow the states lead on safety and new protocols. I am sure as the reopen times gets closer, we will have some new rules and regulations in place. Since we do not have a “set in stone” date, I have not opened my books for appointments. The schedule, reschedule game is the worst. I will have two months worth of scheduled clients that will need to be booked in. Those are clients that have pre covid-19 appointments. It will be a challenging time and a struggle to make it all work smoothly. Please be patient with me. I love you all and want you all to be your usual hair selfs as soon as possible. I will be working extra hours and extra nights in the beginning to try and accommodate you to the best of my ability. I will be in touch with clients as the reopen date gets nearer. I’m guessing the numbers will speak and the state will let us know how and when that will happen. I thank you for your patience and understanding and kind words. I hope you all are staying healthy and well. We will meet again, and I’ll be waiting with open scissors and a smile.

To all my amazing clients,

The time has come.... as of Friday March 20th at 5pm the state has required all hair salons to close temporarily due to Covid-19. If you have an appointment in the next couple of weeks I will be in contact with you to reschedule. As with all things closed, I am unsure as to a reopen date. Thank you for all your love and support at this time. I look forward to seeing you all again soon. Stay home, stay safe, love the ones you get to be with, and appreciate all your blessings. This too shall pass. As a reminder... never cut your own bangs after a bottle of wine....🤣🤣🤣. Hugs and prayers to you all. See you soon.
