Yesterdays before and after! This is the beginning of the longest process for anyone, especially when you have box color in your hair!!!!! This lovely lady came in and had about 10 inches of hair that still had box dye on her ends. We started by lifting her as far as we could and toned with an ash to get some of the orange tones out.

This lovely lady tried lightening her hair at home and it did not take well, I took her just a little bit lighter and brought her shadow root down a little further to give her a little dimension, toned with an SPA by Matrix and trimmed off the dead ends. Needless to say she was much happier than she was when she came in!

I finally got to do what I have been wanting to do since we were in high school. I got to take my best friend BLONDE. Now like all stylists know this was a PROCESS and it’s still not over. I’m officially going back to a salon and will have to bring her shadow root down just a little further and get her blonde just a little bit brighter. Some of the red around her crown did NOT want to lift and it gave her a little bit of a strawberry undertone with some red low lights (lol)

Just a few of the things I’ve done lately! Makeup will always be one of my passions and I am in absolute love with the way my roommates hair turned out. My roommate wanted a darker root blended in with her blonde, so I darkened her root and blended it down with a 5N & 30vol matching closely to her natural color, and then I lightened her ends a little more with Kenra Lightener & 20vol and toned with a 9T/9P mixture to really get that platinum poppin. I’ve been pretty MIA in the hair business here lately but I finally got my hands in some color and gave my good friend an all over dark brown! I used a 4N by Matrix SoColor all over with 30vol and processed for 45 minutes. After rinsed we evened up her hair cut and I gave her a much needed blow out with a 3” round brush ☺️

I didn’t get a before picture, but this doll came in with blue/green hair. We processed her ends with 30 vol and lightener to get some of the blue out, and then toned with a 9M and 9N mixture, she ended up liking the way her ends looked so we then went in with a 7N and neutralized her root and blended it to give us that beautiful balayage look!
