We've been a little quieter than usual this summer... and it's been for good reason. 🤍

This season has been one of resting, recharging, and preparing for a new chapter in my career.

When I created Esthetics with Maddy, my goal was clear- "make skincare more accessible". Whether that meant serving those in rural communities or caring for those who have traditionally been overlooked by the beauty industry, I wanted everyone to feel like they had a place here.

That mission naturally led me to sensitive skin.

Helping people find relief when relief feels impossible. Helping people feel beautiful, comfortable, and cared for when life has become heavy. That has always been at the heart of what we do here.

Thanks to an incredible opportunity through GROW Nebraska, this summer I completed an intensive Oncology Esthetics certification to expand that mission even further.

Over the course of this training, I studied how cancer and its treatments affect the skin and body, how to safely adapt skincare services, and how to create treatment plans that prioritize comfort, safety, and compassion for every individual.

I am incredibly honored to now provide oncology-safe skincare for those living with cancer, undergoing treatment, and in survivorship.

One thing we often hear in esthetics school is that oncology clients are the one category of skin we shouldn't treat. This certification taught me that with the proper education and modifications, we absolutely can provide safe, meaningful care to those who can benefit from it the most.... Because sometimes, a facial isn't just about skincare.

Sometimes it's about feeling like yourself again.
Sometimes it's about being cared for. Sometimes it's about having a space where, even for an hour, cancer isn't the center of the room.

Thank you to every client who has supported me and allowed me to continue learning and growing. It is a privilege to care for this community, and I can't wait to see where this new chapter leads. 🤍
