Haney's Barber Shop

If you've ever wondered where the best barber around gets his hair cut, this picture answers that question. Yes that is young Bud in his first barbering days in Ogallala cutting current day Bud's hair. Wonder how much he tips himself? Happy 60 years of cutting hair in Ogallala Bud.

As many of you know, this Sunday is Dad's 60th year of cutting hair in the same building---but it occurred to me that without Twila handling all the behind the scenes duties like paying bills, ordering supplies, cleaning and keeping Bud on his toes, Bud might not have made it to 60 years so a big shout out to Twila and congrats to her. And if you haven't sent a card yet, the shop's address is 210 North Spruce, Ogallala Nebraska 69153

May 10th is Bud's 60th anniversary of barbering in his current location. That's quite the achievement. And if you would like to send him a card the address is 210 North Spruce, Ogallala Nebraska 69153.

Just a reminder that Bud is coming up on his 60th year of making this area look WAY better cutting hair in the same location as of May 10th. I would love to see him get 100 cards or more and it would be greatly appreciated from the people that he has honestly enjoyed over all these years. You folks is why he has done this for so long. 210 North Spruce Ogallala Nebr 69153

I wanted to let everyone know that Bud's 60th year anniversary of cutting hair in his current location is May 10th. 60 years of cutting hair in the same shop. I encourage anyone that wouldn't mind taking a few minutes out of their day to send a card congratulating him. It would mean a lot to him. I'll keep making posts about this with a few pictures over the years. Thank you in advance. 210 North Spruce, Ogallala Nebr, 69153 is his address

Bud has officially donated 25 gallons of blood over the past 60 years. Only the 4th person in Keith County history to reach that milestone. More than most cars gas tanks hold. I had to Google this out of curiosity but that's about 222 pounds--OF BLOOD! More than Bud weighs right now. I would love to know how many lives he's saved. Bud says if you bring in your copy of the paper, he'll autograph it for $20. Pretty good price for a 60 year accomplishment.

Merry Christmas from the Haneys. Bud's hours are till noon today the 24th, closed tomorrow and normal Friday and Saturday. Same plan for next week. Noon the 31st, closed the 1st and normal Friday and Saturday hours. Enjoy every moment the next few weeks. It's all those small moments that are our true blessings.

The barbershop will be closed this week due to health issues. We apologize for any inconvenience
