Why this wispy cat eye worked on her. 👁️

Before I picked up a single lash, I read her eyes.
Almond shape with a slight downturn at the outer corner which means two things most artists miss:

A uniform length set would’ve dragged her eyes down even more

A heavy doll-eye style would’ve fought her natural shape instead of working with it

So we went wispy cat eye. Here’s the why behind the design

Lengths concentrated at the outer third to visually lift the downturn and pull the eye outward creating that snatched, lifted effect without needing a single drop of eyeliner.

Strategic spikes throughout the set to add piecey texture that mimics the way her natural lashes already grow so the result reads as enhanced, not applied.

Shorter, softer lengths at the inner corner to keep the eye open and bright, not closed off or weighed down.

This is what lash mapping actually is. Not picking lengths off a chart reading the face in front of you and designing a set that works with the anatomy, not against it.
