Our Dandelion Facial Oil begins with farm-grown dandelion leaves and roots, distilled through our signature Phyto Glow® process to create an antioxidant-rich oil that helps clarify, brighten, and restore the skin’s natural glow.

One thing leads to another. The last phase of designing an Ojai Wild fragrance or skincare product is the actual composition.

A bloom in a field becomes an obsession or question. You smell something strangely familiar in white sage leaf that you hadn’t noticed before. Rose translates its composition completely different in water than you expected. A distillation reveals some small facet that sends you somewhere else. And eventually there is a perfume, carrying its own animating force.

Nature is the organizing intelligence. The distillate is its record. Our fragrances and skincare products are a small expression of a much larger pattern. And so are we.

Our roses may have surrendered but the Chamomile is having its day!

How we make fragrance.

We distill the dandelion from root to leaf, capturing the distinct chemistry held within each part of the plant. Then we add fresh rose hip Phyto Glow® distillate to create an undiluted trifecta of plant chemistry that supports the skin’s natural processes of clearing, renewal, and repair.
