Electrolysis is a safe and effective method of permanent hair removal that has been in use for more than 100 years. A very fine, flexible probe is inserted into a hair follicle. A minute amount of electricity is applied to the hair root. Then the hair is gently tweezed from the follicle. Once the root is destroyed, a hair is incapable of re-growth.
