How to achieve curly ends using a yarn or a thread. You can also use a small, long piece of braiding hair if that's all you have on hand. The same concept applies.

Tips:
When twisting, twist firmly, not too tight, but not too loose. If you twist too tight, it will be hard to slide the hair down the yarn. If you twist too loose, your end result will be too soft and could shrink once you dip it in the hot water.
Dry the dipped ends thoroughly for the best results.
Use foaming mousse when separating the curls. Take your time with this.
