This year has been one of the hardest years I’ve had as a barber, especially the last few months.
I’ve experienced my first real burnout since I started this journey 8 years ago. I thought I had experienced burnout before but none of it was ever close to what this experience has been.

This industry is a tough one to be in when life gets crazy and boy, have I had a crazy one lately. From moving twice in one year, building a tiny house, helping a friend take care of their Okie home, and so many more things I could mention while still showing up for my tribe, I AM POOPED.

I’m finally getting back into my groove of things with my barbershop and assessing the things that need to change to keep a steady pace.

To get to my point, I need some help folks and if you have hair and need it cut you can help a struggling artist. As long as I’ve been in this industry, I’ve always had a second source of income and my most recent job made me realize that working a second job is the problem. Don’t get me wrong, I will definitely still be doing a side hustle at all times but I know as long as I have to give a serious commitment to a second job that I will continue to see customers fizzle out.

You may notice some unusual openings available on my schedule coming up in the next few months. As the holidays approach, I wanna go ahead and get a Headstart on acclimating to that schedule so you will notice.
