Flashback! 💋

Sometimes God doesn’t tell us “no.” Sometimes He simply says, “Not yet.”

Looking back at this photo from The Ivy Garden Spa, I smile because I remember how badly I wanted it to happen. I prayed over it, planned it, and worked toward it. But it just wasn’t flowing the way I thought it should, and coming from Atlanta being booked and busy, it was hard to accept.

Now I understand why.

If that dream had taken off then, I may not have been able to walk the path God was preparing for me. I wouldn’t be where I am today, growing, healed, learning, serving, and becoming the woman He is calling me to be.

Along the way, I had to surrender. I had to let go of things that weren’t meant for me; even when it hurt. I had to stop trying to force doors open that God had already closed. I had to allow Him to heal my heart, refine my character, and teach me that purpose is just as much about preparation as it is about arrival.

Dreams don’t expire just because they’re on pause.

If God gave you a vision, hold on to it. Keep doing the work. Keep growing. Keep your heart pure. Make room for God and Jesus to be at the center of everything you do. Let Him shape you before He expands you. Sometimes the greatest blessing isn’t the dream itself; it’s who you become while you’re waiting.

Timing really is everything.

One day, the pieces will come together, and what once felt delayed will fit perfectly into God’s plan. And when it does, you’ll realize He wasn’t making you wait to punish you. He was preparing you for something greater.

So if you’re a visionary with more than one dream, don’t be discouraged if one has to sit on the shelf for a while. It may not be over. It may simply be waiting for its appointed time.

Trust God’s timing. Keep the faith. Your season will come. 💚🍃

God never stops showing up. Every time I look back, He has provided exactly what my family needed, right on time. I am so thankful and humbled to be blessed with a new home for me and my children. As a single mother, this is another reminder that God truly is a Father to the fatherless and a provider for those who trust Him. I don’t have to force anything or depend on anyone but Him. His timing is perfect, His provision is real, and my heart is full of peace, joy, and gratitude. What He has for me will come in His time. Until then, I’m thankful for every blessing along the way. ❤️🏡🙏

Not rushing the process and not doubting the promise, just showing up, mind, body, and spirit. I’m watering myself, pouring into my body, and growing through every rep, every step, and every choice.

This isn’t a phase, it’s a lifestyle. God has shown me so much, and now I’m honoring that.

Who’s going to take care of the ones I love if I’m not healthy? I’m being the example. I’m surrounding myself with like minded energy, choosing growth, and choosing alignment. The woman I prayed for isn’t far, she’s unfolding.

God is shaping my life into everything I prayed for…
and I trust the timing.

🌿 This time, it’s different.

Working out isn’t just about looking good for me anymore. It’s deeper than that. I can feel the shift in my mindset. I’m not showing up halfway, and I’m not okay with just doing enough. I’m pushing myself to go all the way — mentally, physically, and spiritually.

🌿 I’m not aiming for mediocre. I’m building the highest version of myself. The discipline feels different, the focus feels different, and the way I move is more intentional. I’m paying attention to what I’m feeding my mind, what I’m allowing around me, and what I’m choosing to grow.

🌿 In this season, I’m rooted differently. I’m more grounded, more focused, and more serious about becoming who I know I’m called to be.

🌿 And that’s why this feels personal. Because it is. This isn’t just a workout… this is me elevating, growing, and stepping fully into me.
