On this day September 25th, 10 years ago. I graduated cosmetology school with my completed hours. It’s crazy to think how much has changed since then. The night of my graduation I actually changed my hair to red for the very first time. It was such a surprise to everyone since no one knew I was doing it. It was such a special night.

If it makes you happy it doesn’t have to make sense to others

When this client came in she said she was struggling for her hair color to stay in, also that her roots always looked different then the rest. First thing I did was ask about her product she was using on her hair. I found out she was using drugstore shampoo and conditioner that also wasn’t color safe. I explained why we have to use color safe shampoo every time with colored hair. I then explain the water to wash the hair in need to be like warm at the hottest temp. When I explain these things to her, she told me know one had told her how to take care of her color after to going to several stylist. When if came to the color I decided to do an all over color to get her back where she wanted to be. With my formulations I did something different on the roots then on the ends. I did a formula more designed for white roots that she has. The color came out consistent through our the whole head of her. She was excited for once to be all the same color all over.

This is the same blonde I post from yesterday were their hair was straight. I always like take photos if possible of the hair straight and curled. To show the client of all the different ways their hair will look. With most blonde clients when they keep their hair straight you mainly see all the blonde. Where as when you curl the hair you able to more of the dimensions throughout the hair.
