Hi everyone, It’s been a little while since I’ve checked in!
Summer is flying by, and I’ve been so thankful for the opportunity to share Maddy’s Tallow at a few markets this season — Carroll Farmers Market, Fort Dodge Farmers Market, and Britt’s Market in Auburn, Iowa.
I’m learning so much about being a small business owner and am so grateful for the support along the way. This journey has been rooted in my love for simple ingredients, agriculture, and creating something meaningful.
Here’s to continuing to grow, stay rooted, and see where God leads this journey!

Have you ever thought about why it’s called Good Friday?
Friday is the day Jesus was crucified—the day He gave His life on the cross. It was painful and heartbreaking, but it’s called “good” because of what came from it.
Through His sacrifice, we are given forgiveness, grace, and a way to have a relationship with God.
On the cross, Jesus said, “It is finished,” showing that His mission was complete. The sacrifice needed for forgiveness was fully paid.
But death wasn’t the end… Sunday was coming.

A huge thank you to my friends and family who have given me nothing but love and support. I truly wouldn’t be chasing my dreams without that support and the way God has guided me through it all—so thankful for His faithfulness in every step 🤍
Today was such a blast at the Spencer Craft Fair Show at the Clay County Fairgrounds. I’m feeling so blessed by every conversation and connection made.

Starting Maddy’s Tallow has been both exciting and challenging, but I’ve truly loved every moment of it.
There has been many moments I questioned myself.
Where do I start?
Will people understand it?
What if I fail?
But I kept coming back to why I started — a passion for simple, clean skincare rooted in tradition. Ingredients I can pronounce. Supporting local agriculture. Creating something wholesome and intentional.
So with lots of support from family and friends I dove right in.
I’ve prayed over this business more times than I can count. I’ve trusted God in the slow seasons and thanked Him in the busy ones.
And I’m learning that growth doesn’t happen without stepping outside your comfort zone.
There may be trial and error ahead, but that’s part of building something meaningful. I’m grateful for every lesson and every person supporting this journey 🤍
