REALITY ✅ CHECK .
From years of BLACK to WHITE... I have been showing clients photos for years, so I decided to make an actual transformation, reality check. Katy is the perfect example of the stages hair has to go through when transitioning from colored, black hair to zero pigment white. The 4th & 5th photos are my favorite, bc it shows the difference in lift between natural/virgin hair and previously colored hair. Can y’all see how much lighter (and less orange) the roots are in those pics?? .

I’m sure I’m going to get some messages about how “it can be done in one day”... so I wanted to say, yes, that IS true (but it is SO RARE, and definitely not the norm). I personally have not been able to completely transform a level 1 or 2 to a crisp, clean platinum in one day (and I have ALOT of platinums). .

I have several clients who have made the transformation, but I have told all of them to give me an entire year before I can get them to their goal. In some cases it only took 6 months, and in others a year was right on target. This timeframe is definitely “playing it safe” bc every client that has made this transformation with me has also wanted to keep all of their length during the process… Oh the irony!
