Having so many bonus nieces and nephews who call me Aunt Annette is truly one of my favorite things in this life. 🥹🫶🏼

Anyone else still mentally LARPing as their BTC Show 2026 selves? 😂🪩

Because last Sunday I was at a disco surrounded by thousands of hairdressers… and tonight I ate dinner alone.

The BTC Blues are REAL. 😂

I didn’t just change to a new color brand in 2019. I chose to invest in myself.

That year, I immersed myself in Wella Professionals and took on the six-month Wella Color Expert program. It was rigorous. Chemistry, technique, formulation, product technology… it challenged me to understand not just WHAT I was doing behind the chair, but WHY.

And that education changed the trajectory of my career.

Color Expert became Salon Leader.
Salon Leader became suite owner.
Suite owner became salon owner. 🤘🏼

My confidence grew. My business grew. My opportunities grew. And somewhere along the way, my idea of what was possible for my career grew too.

But one of the things I’ve valued most about Wella has always been that the investment doesn’t stop at the product.

I’m proud to present my clients with the best color and styling products while educating them along the way. I want them to understand what I’m using, why I’m using it and how the right products can help them maintain the health, beauty and longevity of their hair at home.

This is a brand that invests in educating the stylist behind the tube and creating an inclusive, supportive community where artists can learn from each other, celebrate each other and grow together.

There is room at the table for all of us.
