Catelynn Young 💗

After stepping away from the beauty industry to embrace motherhood, life got a little busier including becoming a mom to twin boys. Now, I’m stepping back into the industry with a whole new perspective, a deeper appreciation for self care, and the same love for making women feel good in their own skin.

I’m a cosmetologist and mom of three boys. When I’m not busy with the babies or cheering on my 7 year old from the soccer sidelines, you can probably find me trying a new recipe or planning my next good meal. I’m a foodie at heart, a lover of all things beauty, and a firm believer that taking care of yourself should never feel like an afterthought.

I’m so excited to be back doing what I love waxing, skincare, and all things brows. Whether you’re looking for smooth skin, a fresh glow, or brows that perfectly frame your face, I’m here to create an experience that leaves you feeling confident, cared for, and completely at home in your own skin.

We are so happy to have Catelynn joining us here at Legacy! She has a heart of gold, is extremely talented and genuinely cares about giving her clientele the best experience in her treatment room. Please give her a warm welcome!

‼️IMPORTANT UPDATE: TRIBAL MEDICAL MASSAGE‼️

This is not a post we wanted to make, but we believe in being transparent with our community.

Effective immediately, we are pausing Tribal Medical Massage appointments that rely on direct payment from the Tribe until outstanding balances are paid and we begin seeing consistent reimbursement.

We are currently waiting on payment for services provided as far back as the beginning of August.

We have tried endlessly to make this work because removing the upfront financial barrier for our community matters deeply to us. We have followed up, communicated with providers, and done everything we can on our end to help move these payments along. Unfortunately, we can no longer continue providing services with the possibility of being paid months later.

We are sole providers and small business owners. This income pays our bills, feeds our families, and keeps Legacy operational. We cannot run a business on the promise of maybe receiving payment months down the road.

Clients who wish to keep their appointments may absolutely do so, but payment will now be required at the time of service. We will provide a receipt/documentation for you to submit to the Tribe for reimbursement.

We know this puts a financial barrier back onto our clients, which is exactly what we worked so hard to prevent. That is what makes this decision especially upsetting for us.

Any questions or concerns regarding delayed payments should be directed to the Tribe directly, as reimbursement is outside of our control.

We deeply apologize to everyone affected. Community means the world to us, but we also have to protect our providers, our families, and our livelihood.

We sincerely hope this is temporary and that we can resume direct Tribal billing once payments are caught up and consistent. 🤎

We cannot thank you all enough for choosing us to be your providers in all types of self-care. We will keep communication as open as possible going forward. Please check your messages as we will be reaching out to those scheduled currently to provide options to you going forward! 💗

Kiarah Ryder ✨

Hey! I am Kiarah Ryder, the owner of Brows by Kiarah, established in 2020. Currently based in Old Town, Maine as a Permanent Makeup Artist. I am trained and offer many services in this industry. I spent my childhood in Old Town, Maine and graduated from Arkansas University Grantham in 2023 with a BBA in Human Resources. I love to travel and explore the world with new adventures and experiencing different cultures. My hobbies include coaching and music. I’m married with one son and two crazy dogs. My favorite activities to do with my family are sporting events and outdoor activities.
