Bird Dog Barbershop

***UPDATE***

Surgery went well and I am discharged from the hospital. Not a bad stay and had some real good apple juice! Still planning on being back to the shop on Thursday, September 17th, but will update if that changes!

We’re coming together to support one of our own 🤍

Join us at The Royal School of Cosmetology for a Scalp Treatment Fundraiser in honor of our student, Pachance. Every $20 service goes directly to her family to help with medical expenses during this difficult time.

✨ Relax, restore, and give back ✨

**TEMPORARY CLOSURE ANNOUNCEMENT **

The best time to have surgery was 20 years ago, but the second best time is one month after opening your own barbershop….but nonetheless, Bird Dog Barbershop will be closed until approximately September 17 while I recover from surgery, give or take some days, depending on how it goes.

The shop will be CLOSED today (Wednesday, September 2). Will be back at it on Thursday.

Donations have been made!

Thank you everyone that participated in Dolly Parton Day! We collectively raised $615 which is way more than I had expected! I am also going to match the largest donation amount, which was $100 so the actual amount will be $715, so that’s $357.50 to the Olney Public Library and $357.50 to The Dollywood Foundation. Hooray!

If you want to participate in Dolly Parton Day, but can’t or don’t want to get a haircut, that’s okay, you can Venmo me some $$$$$ and I will add it to the pile.

Reminder! The FULL $ AMOUNT of EVERY service given today will be donated to the Olney Public Library and The Dollywood Foundation in memory of Dolly Parton, who was a better person than I ever thought about being!
