I really don’t know what to say right now other than I miss you so much, and I wish you were still here with me. You left this world too early, but I know you were having a hard time. Seeing you struggle, I think was one of the hardest things a child can ever see their parent go through. But I do know one thing: I know you’re safe, you’re comfortable, and you’re watching over all four of your kids and 6 beautiful grandkids.

I just want you to know how much of a light you were to this world. You were one of those people anybody could lean on, especially during hard times. I remember you were the first person I called up when I shared my coming out story, and the first thing you told me was that you would always love me just as I am, and that I would always be your son.

Even through the stupid conversations about dating or unfortunate life decisions , you always told me not to take things too seriously because I would always get through them. You were always the person I ran to first. It was you who helped create the person I am. My strength, my independence, and even my stubbornness at times are all because of you

If I could hold you just one more time and tell you how much I love you, I would over and over again.

I love you with all of my heart momma. I know I’ll see you again, but for now, I will continue to make you proud just like I told you I would.

I love you forever and ever and ever.

2 months apart BABY!!

I can’t believe we achieved this in such a short amount of time.

Actually… I can. Especially when you have an esthetician who’s damn good at what they do 😉
