Our property management company at the office has neglected to fix our heating issues for over 2 weeks (this is not the first time, either) and I would like to know if anyone knows of a local trans affirming office space, and a commercial tenant lawyer. THANKS!

Hey friends! I deleted instagram from my phone, so I’m unable to see messages there. I’m still in business and my booking website is still up and running. :)

I’ve got room for 2 more clients on Friday.

I just found out that one of the plans offered through Apple Health covers massage therapy, and I am SO stoked about it! I know how daunting insurance stuff can be, so here is a step by step guide.

First off, Apple Health has several plans you can choose from: Molina, Coordinated Care, United Health care, Wellpoint, and Community Health Plan of WA (CHPW)

This guide is for getting massage covered through CHPW. You can switch to this plan anytime but you would want to read about the coverage first to see if it is right for you AND you would want to make sure that any providers you are already seeing can accept this insurance.

 If CHPW looks right for you (and you're not already on it), you can
1. log in to:
www.wahealthplan.org
2. From your account dashboard there is a button that says "Shop for Current Plans",click that. Then on the next page click "Shop plans." From there, you can click on CHPW to pick that plan. Switching over to a new plan takes about a month. They'll send you a letter letting you know when coverage starts.
3. Once coverage starts, find a massage therapist you'd like to see, ask them if they can provide a superbill for you (most will).
4. After your massage, you will pay the massage therapist directly yourself. They will send you a superbill (which is essentially a medical receipt).
5. Print your superbill. It should have the following info on it:
• Patient/member name;
• Patient/member DOB;
• Patient/member Address;
• Member ID number;
• Provider/facility name;
• Provider's tax ID number;
• Service location address;
• CPT code;
• Date of service;
• Proof of payment.

If any of this info is missing, you can write it on the receipt.

6. Mail this to:
CHP Claims
P.O. Box 269002
Plano, TX 75026-9002

7. You should receive a reimbursement check in the mail in about a month

CHPW covers 20 Alternative care visits a year. That includes chiropractic work, acupuncture, and massage therapy. For massage, you have 20 thirty minute visits a year but you can use those thirty minute sessions however you like; you can schedule a 90 minute massage and that would count as 3 of your 20 visits.
