3 weeks into the 6 week deep dive into the root chakra, earth element, and embodiment and I feel it. Nourished. Connected. Ease-full. The reminder I needed: tending your well-being as a daily practice hits different than scrambling for support once you’re already running on empty.

Life is hard enough! Make use of every easy tool you can. These flowers essence sprays just make my life gentler and more comfortable. The Grounded Embodiment spray has been my right hand help for weeks now. I started using it in preparation for my class (which is super fun by the way) and it’s never far from me.

Hey friends after a LONG break I’m teaching again and you are invited:
Taking Root:
Embodiment, Ritual & Belonging
In times of uncertainty, many of us feel unsteady, overwhelmed or disconnected from our bodies. Yet beneath the turbulence of the world, inside each of us is an embodied intelligence that knows how to ground, regulate and restore us.
Over six weeks we’ll gather to explore the wisdom and resource of our root - the energy center that connects us to safety, stability, belonging and the earth.
Using somatic practices, art-making and ritual you’ll deepen the embodied connection to source that lives in your bones.
Each participant receives a bottle of Grounded Embodiment flower essence spray to work with between sessions.
Small group. True depth.
Six weeks in person,
beginning March 31st in Olympia. Tuesdays 5:30–7:30pm.
Sliding scale $60-$120 per session or $350-$700 if paid in full
Space is limited to 8
DM or text me to register or with questions.

After sitting with Thrive the Times (aka WTAF spray) daily for the last couple of weeks I can definitely say I have been helped by it. I have felt quieter inside, spacious and moved to take right-sized action.
It’s as if the noise, while clearly still there, is outside of me. What a relief. If you have felt braced lately, this might be a helper worth exploring.

Lemongrass feels like a clean sweep through my field. It clears, lightens, brightens and gently stimulates action. There is a subtle strengthening to it that helps to access internal fire. It brings the whole essential oil blend of Thrive the Times to a sunnier place.

Since I’ve already written about Lavender and Clary Sage and their extraordinary support for regulation, I want to turn toward the lesser known allies in this blend.
Today, Myrtle is the star.
Light, slightly sweet, and softly camphorous, Myrtle has been used for medicinally for thousands of years. To me, it feels like an opener. An opener of the senses, of perception, and an opener to receive.
When I work with Myrtle, I notice it helps wake me up to what truly matters most. And this, in and of itself, softens stress. Exactly what we need in the WTAF spray.

The essential oil blend in the Thrive the Times spray came about when I was trying to make deodorant that was also quieting for the nervous system.
The four essential oils I chose are Lavender, Myrtle, Clary Sage and Lemongrass. While the deodorant project had other plans that oil blend kept calling for new life. That’s how it came into being this spray.
It has a scent that is floral and herbal, but it’s also clean and lightly citrus. The feel of it is like a subtle clearing of energy, with an exhale and a softly stable return center.
Artist: unknown but the art captures the feel of the spray very well!

Now that I’ve been using the Thrive the Times spray daily for a week the biggest change I’m noticing is, it is as if I’ve been lifted out of the chaos. I’m well aware of it but not searching it out. I’m able to hold onto my own perspective and I’m more focused on my own projects and creative explorations. I can’t tell you what a contrast this is and it feels great! Over the next few days I’ll share a little about the gorgeous essential oil allies in the formula.

It was a whirlwind day full of unexpected twists and turns and honestly it was pretty stressful. More stressful than I have felt in the last few weeks. I even had a massage that ended up feeling more like work than relaxation. Once home I sat down to write this post feeling off-kilter and anxious. I noticed the WTAF spray sitting next to me, sprayed liberally all around me and instantly (truly!) my anxiety melted and I felt recalibrated. I’m genuinely surprised by how much of a shift I felt considering where I started.
