It’s officially that time to get back to work! 🥳 I’ve missed you all sooooo much and hope you had an amazing Summer! I’m looking forward to Fall and can’t wait to get back into the suite!

There will be a slight change to my schedule as I will be dropping Tuesdays and only working Wednesday-Saturday. As always, my Saturdays are not available through online booking but I will be reaching out to all my Saturday regulars to get you scheduled! (Please be patient with me though, I have quite a few of you!)

By following these easy steps you can enhance your Brazilian wax results!

24-48 Hours Post Wax
🚫 No touching- You don’t want to be introducing new bacteria to your open follicle
🚫 Avoid baths/ hot tubs/ swimming pools
🚫 Avoid working out (sweat, bacteria, friction can cause irritation)
🚫 Sexual activity
🚫 Direct UV exposure (No tanning beds… or ever 😉)

It’s not uncommon to have little hairs poking through the first couple times being waxed if you are just starting out. It usually takes 3-5 waxes for the hairs to get on the same growth cycle. This is why it’s important to not shave in between waxes!

For best results
👍🏻 Exfoliate weekly
👍🏻 Moisturize daily
(I like Fur oil & Fur concentrate for these steps!)
👍🏻 Rebook every 4-6 weeks

If you aren’t exfoliating or hydrating your skin in between waxes your wax will only be as good as your after care. This is a team effort! 👯‍♀️

For smoother longer lasting results exfoliating helps pop those trapped hairs up making it easier for the wax to pick up while hydrating the skin/hair prevents breakage and easier removal!

Thinking of getting a Brazilian? Here are a few easy tips to maximize your comfort and results! ✨

1. Hair must be 1/4 inch in length for the wax to pick up. (That’s about the size of a grain of rice 🍚) For best results it’s 3 weeks of growth from when you shaved last!

2. Shower before your appointment 🚿

3. Wear comfortable and loose fitting clothing

4. Drink some water and take ibuprofen 30 minutes before your appointment to help take the edge off!

5. Remember to relax, it’s over before you know it! ☺️

Did you know anti aging & acne skincare products can contain ingredients that can make your skin lift during your waxing appointment?

Some common Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA’s) are glycolic, citric, lactic, mandelic, tartaric, and malic.

Always check the ingredients on the back of your skincare products to know if it is waxing safe! 🧐
