If you’ve sat in my chair, you know I believe there is always room for improvement. I rarely do the exact some thing twice because it can always be better. Today, Emma and I tried out being a 🍂fall blonde🍂 for the first time. We are both obsessed. You don’t have do something wild and crazy for the season change. Some low lights and darker gloss can make you feel ready for the best time of year! 🍁🎃

Some families are made up of mostly doctors, some of teachers. Some people come from families who are multi-generational tradesmen, and others have no career heritage at all. My family's legacy is one of tenacious, small business owners. I am beyond excited to join the club and become self-employed.

Before taking this step, I have gotten the career development of a lifetime. I apprenticed under one of the best hair cutters in Omaha and worked in Omaha's #1 rated salon. I received first-class instruction by educators from all over the world. I even traveled out of state to seek further coaching to fill in gaps I was missing.

I am currently enrolled at UNO, pursuing a degree in Business Communications. I seek out mentors and surround myself with people who better me. I am an avid solo-traveler and a student of the world, finding inspiration beyond Pinterest and TikTok.

Most importantly, I have seen how to run a business. I have had a front row seat watching family members stumble and thrive. Through the generations my family's businesses have been different, but the common thread has been a willingness to take risks and work hard. My mom opened her first business at 26, and I am opening "Ember & Ash" at the same age. I feel ready to take this plunge. Thank you for trusting and joining me. Here goes everything!
