I have some new people here so I figured it was time for me to reintroduce myself!

My name is Becca( but we have another Rebecca at the salon so I go by Beck!) I’m 21 years old and was born in western Nebraska. I have mostly grown up In Colorado though and just moved to Omaha about 3 years ago to pursue my dreams of working in this field with my sister Hailey( ) I have been at Gloss for a little over 2 & 1/2 years, working the front desk as I went through Esthetics school! So I know the salon like the back of my hand 😉

•When I’m not in the treatment room you can find me hanging out with my nieces, they are my world 💓
•I have a cat named Ruby, so I’m always willing to share crazy cat stories 🐈
•I’m a caffeine addict, I can’t go a day without my iced coffee☕️
•You will not catch me leaving the house without a spf on. I even keep one in my purse for touch ups😅

Happy skin cancer awareness month and happy melanoma Monday!!🎗️

Never did I think that 2 years ago just starting esthetician school, that at 19 years old I would be told I had melanoma. But I did know from that moment on I knew I was ment to be an esthetician and help people take care of their skin. Skin cancer is no joke! And melanoma kills! Did you know that more than 2 people die every hour from skin cancer ?! Skin is our largest organ and we should be taking care of it properly! Sunscreen is not an option, it is mandatory to keep us healthy!

Bioelements Raydefense is one of my favorite SPF’s as it protects against UVA and UVB rays. It’s light weight and hydrating and doesn’t leave a white residue!
