Lash Karma turned 4 today. This was my personal birthday dinner from last year (almost a month late, but still).

There were about 20 of us at the table. Friends. Family.
And clients. Not all pictured.

The word “client” starts to feel a little thin after a while. Especially when almost everyone here has been on my lash bed or in my makeup chair. Eyes closed. Trusting me with their face, their time, their energy.

Somewhere in between fills and appointments, something else forms. We talk. We sit in silence. We process real s*t. We laugh harder than expected. Sometimes we say things we didn’t plan on saying.

Then, we’re at a dinner like this. Or traveling together. Or attending an event. Or a family gathering.

I think people still have a very fixed idea of what
“professional” is supposed to look like. Distant. Separate. Controlled.

But in all honesty, I’ve never built Lash Karma that way. This space holds both. Precision and real life. Boundaries and connection. Service and relationship.

Nothing here feels forced. And that’s exactly why it works.
