Update on my son. He’s getting back to his normal self again!!😁 (no more pain meds) He told us he’s ready to go back to school 😁 so tomorrow will be his first day back to school after a pretty major surgery on his legs only 12 days ago. So if you see him rolling around in his wheelchair 🦽 give a him a high five. One tuff dude 💪 !! 😁 (FYI I am back in the shop as well!!)

Today my son Jordan will have femoral osteotomy surgery on both of his legs for the 2nd time. This was done 5 years ago, but over that time his hips have moved back to an angle that isn't ideal. Following the surgery he will be in leg braces for 3-4 weeks and non weight bearing for 6 weeks. We are dreading everything about this. Jordan has had moments of WHY ME? I remind him that God chose this for him and his family and friends.
Even after finding out this news, this comes home from school and I know he's going to be ok. Praise the Lord!
"I am thankful for my size because it makes me unique. I also can get great hiding spots in hide and seek. Every year people with dwarfism come to some place in America and we play sports and meet people like me. It's also very cool to have my type of dwarfism because only a couple other people have my kind. That is why I am thankful for my size."
