Every loc journey begins with intention—and at Bellessence Salon, we honor that beginning with precision, care, and healthy hair practices.

Starter locs are the foundation of your loc journey. Whether started with comb coils or two-strand twists, we focus on:
• ✨ Healthy, cleansed scalp
• ✨ Clean, uniform parting
• ✨ Low-manipulation techniques
• ✨ Long-term loc health

Your locs will evolve, mature, and take on a life of their own—this stage is about patience and trust. Locs aren’t rushed… they’re grown. 🤍

Honoring African Culture | Black History Month ✊🏾✨

African history is woven into every braid, coil, loc, and crown we wear.
Long before fashion houses and runways, African hair told stories—of lineage, status, spirituality, resistance, and pride. Hair was (and still is) art, language, and identity.

From intricate cornrows mapped with meaning to sculptural styles worn by kings, queens, and warriors, African hair has always been a living archive of culture. Today, that legacy continues through fashion—on runways, in salons, backstage, and in everyday expression—where tradition meets innovation.

This Black History Month, we honor:
🖤 The ancestors who used hair as history
🖤 The creatives who keep culture alive through fashion
🖤 The beauty of Black hair in all its power, texture, and truth

African hair is not a trend.
It is heritage.
It is resistance.
It is excellence.

✨ Rooted in culture. Elevated through fashion. ✨
