“Hi! My name is Morgan Evers, wife to my high school sweetheart Ben. I am a mom to our two girls in college, Aleyse and Haylee, and our high schooler, Joel.

I grew up in Bellevue and lived the majority of my adult life in the surrounding metro area. We decided to leave the state for a decade which was such a blessing for our family. Our travels took us to San Antonio, Minneapolis, and Knoxville. Eventually ending our journey back in Nebraska, because there is truly no place like home. (Go huskers!)

Throughout all the places we lived, I have been extremely blessed to prioritize my family while also always having my hands in hair. Jess and I attended hair school together, and I’ve had the pleasure of knowing her sweet heart for many years. I’m beyond excited to be joining Jess at the Exclusive Chair to serve the wonderful people of the Omaha area. For me, doing hair has always been so much more than just working. I’ve always believed hair is powerful in that it showcases individual personality and self expression. My passion and goal is to help clients feel their absolute BEST in whatever style they choose.”

Who has been looking for the perfect blonde haircare for highlighted or naturally blonde hair?!

21+ years in this industry… here’s a random list of advice I would tell my newer stylists:

1. Never. Stop . Learning. Always be coachable/teachable… the second you think you know everything- your work and creativity will become stagnant. Find a stylist you love- and shadow them!

2. We loveee our clients!! But randomly you will have someone who becomes draining/negative/toxic. Be SO aware of this and handle it professionally. There are so many stylists out there- recognize when it’s time to refer them elsewhere. I’m not for everyone- and not everyone is for me 🤍

3. Set boundaries! Decide what is best for your family and design your business /schedule around that. If you don’t run your business - it WILL run you. Trust me on this.

4. Wear. Comfortable. Shoes and attire. Trust me on this- 2 herniated discs later- your body will thank you 20 years from now.

5. No gossip. Whether it’s with a client or co-worker-don’t let it happen. Be the professional, be the bigger person and change the subject/end it.

6. If you’re feeling less motivated throughout the week- treat yourself to your favorite coffee at your fav coffee shop…😂 it works EVERY time!

7. The best thing I have learned to do is pray over my day and the clients I’ll have that day. My day is so much smoother and happier when I start off this way 🤍🙏🏻

This industry is the BEST… enjoy it and be grateful. Run your business like a business and have fun with it!

Spring trends? It’s whatever you want it to be! Have fun with your color as we enter into this new season!

Love what you are currently have? Keep it! Need a little shift in your color? Here are some simple ways to mix it up:
1. Add a soft pop of brightness around the face.
2. Soften the roots with natural depth
3. Change the tone of your highlights (from ash to a tad bit of gold so your highlights pop more)
4. Add some bright pops to your ends of your hair
5. Add more texture to your highlights (shift from babylights to a more textural weave)
6. Warm up your tone with sun-kissed highlights.
7. Go more tone on tone with your base color• highlight combo.
