AI can be a great tool for many things, but when it comes to hair, it can create unrealistic color, dimension, shine, texture, and results that may not actually be achievable in real life.

I generated the photo on the left on purpose for educational purposes only so you can see how convincing AI hair photos can look.

Some things to watch for are overly smooth hair, inconsistent or unnatural shine, exaggerated contrast, blurred/pixelated details, and highlights that look almost too perfect.
