A nice reminder!

This is a non business moment but my family is everything. Our children are watching us. Hard work, goals, resilience...pay off. So proud of my Kristen❤️🥲She just completed her last band performance of her 6th year. This was a tough year but like her brother, determination and drive characterized her walk.

She said that she wanted to work harder, study more, and practice her instrument more than she ever has. Her goal was to get straight “A’s.” She decided this two weeks after her brother died and right before starting a new school in a new state with no friends and not a couple of family members.

She won a leadership achievement award a couple of months ago, has gotten rave reviews from her teachers, and has been beyond helpful at home. She successfully completed her bereavement support group program and has been using the tools she learned to help her in her grief journey.

Just one day ago she had a dream that her brother came to visit her. She was able to tell him sorry for all of the times that she didn’t play with him and she also had a chance to hug him and tell her that she loved him. God is more than good and this mama’s heart is grateful.
