Selāh
Rest. Reflect. Restore.

Having had a lot of lies spoken over myself recently, I can understand all too well the atmosphere and weight that they can create, should we choose to believe them.
His presence is where every one of them dies. They must. They have no choice. His truths over us are too powerful.
Once given the revelation, we can’t UNSEE it.
Praise God for that 🙌🏻.

His oil never runs dry. It changes everything. Pour it out, Lord 🙏🏼
“But you have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox; you have poured over me fresh oil.” — Psalm 92:10

Gift Cards are back in stock — just in time to place rest into the hands of the weary mamas who spend their lives pouring themselves out for everyone else. 🌿
What better gift than a quiet table to return to themselves again? A few sacred hours to breathe deeply, be cared for gently, and remember they are worthy of receiving too.
This is your invitation to gift rest this Mother’s Day. ✨

There’s something sacred in the removing.
In the tomb, the shroud was left behind—folded, abandoned—no longer needed where life had returned. What once signified death could not follow Him into resurrection.
And in the quiet of the spa room, I’ve come to notice a whisper of that same mystery.
The warm towel is lifted, and something more than product is being removed. Layers soften. Guarded places exhale. It feels, somehow, like a gentle undoing.
I’ve lost count of the testimonies—of women sitting up slowly, eyes wide, hearts tender—saying it felt like a veil had been lifted. Like something heavy they didn’t have language for had quietly slipped away or broke off
Insecurities loosening their grip. Fear dissolving without a fight. Anxiety unhooking itself from the body.
As if, for a moment, they were allowed to lay something down and not pick it back up again.
A small death.
A holy rising.
Who knew a simple towel could carry such wonder—that in the surrendering, something in us might come back to life.

Last night, in the quiet of a small group, a question was gently asked:
“Have you ever been still long enough to hear Him speak?”
Something in me recognized it instantly.
Because that is the heartbeat of what I carry—an invitation into rest, into silence, into simply being with Him.
I began to wonder where this rhythm first found me—where He first taught me to linger instead of rush, to listen instead of fill the space.
And I remembered. It started with my study of Zechariah in 2020.
In the first chapter, God is calling for a return to Him.
During this time I had been in anger and rebellion toward the Lord and He was gently and lovingly meeting me in this space.
In the 14 chapters of Zachariah, He began to highlight one word that echoed repetitively (17 times in the first 6 chapters alone):
Behold.
“Look again.”
“Stay.”
“See Me.”
And so I did.
In the months that followed, that word found me everywhere—whispered through songs, woven through pages, echoing back to me like a holy refrain I couldn’t escape.
It became my assignment, my undoing, my returning:
To learn how to behold Him.
In his book, Beholding, Strahan Coleman put language to what my soul was longing for understanding in. He said this:
“Beholding is the practice of gazing into God, gazing into us, gazing back into Him. I’ve found what I was made for, to gaze into the God of beauty and to find Him gazing back at me with His eyes of knowing love.”
And in that, everything shifted.
Because this is the invitation—
not to strive, not to perform, not to keep doing more, but to be His.
Not to simply refuel from the doing, but to awaken to the being.
Because true rest is not found in escape, it’s found in His presence.
And when we learn to live from that place—when we finally allow ourselves to behold—we discover that rest was never something we had to chase.
It’s been waiting for us, right there in His eyes.
“Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion, for BEHOLD, I come and I will dwell in your midst, declares the Lord.” -Zechariah 2:10
Comment “resources” if you’re curious to know which ones led me in understanding how to behold Him more. I’ll dm you my list 🤍.

As many of you know, the cost of nearly everything has risen over time, and after much prayer and consideration, a small price adjustment has become unavoidable. I’m deeply grateful for your continued support of this space—it’s because of you that Selāh exists. Thank you for choosing to rest here. You mean more to me than you know 🤍
The Christmas season reminds me that kindness multiplies when shared.
“Give, and it will be given to you.” (Luke 6:38)
Giving has always been one of my favorite rhythms of the Christmas season.
“Freely you have received; freely give.” (Matthew 10:8)
“It is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35)
This Christmas season, I’m leaning into one of my favorite parts —generosity. To celebrate, I’m offering BOGO facials: two moments of rest for the price of one. Keep one for yourself, gift one in kindness. 🤍
‘Tis the Season for rest 🙏🏼
