🚩 Before you book PMU brows, read this first.

Not every brow artist delivers the same results.

Here are 5 red flags you should never ignore before trusting someone with your face.

🚩 No healed results in their portfolio.
Fresh brows look great. Healed results show the artist's true work.

🚩 No consultation before your appointment.
A great artist takes time to understand your goals, answer your questions, and create a personalized plan.

🚩 Every client has the same brow shape.
Your brows should be designed for your face, not copied from someone else's.

🚩 Prices that seem too good to be true.
Quality pigments, proper training, and a safe environment are worth investing in.

🚩 No clear explanation of aftercare or the touch up process.
Beautiful healed brows depend on proper healing and expert guidance every step of the way.

Choosing a PMU artist is about more than finding the lowest price.

It's about trusting someone with your confidence and your results.

Nano Hairstrokes vs. Powder vs. Ombre: How long do they actually last? πŸ•’

Before picking your next brow style, you need to know their lifespans:
🀎 Nano Strokes: 1 - 3 years (super soft and natural!)
🀎 Powder Brows: 2 - 4 years (like a fresh daily makeup look)
🀎 Ombre Brows: 3 - 7 years (the longest lasting, most defined look!)

Thinking about PMU brows but wondering how long they'll last? πŸ€”

It's one of the most common questions we get, and the answer might surprise you.

PMU brows typically last 1 to 3 years.

How long your results last depends on a few factors:

βœ”οΈ Your skin type. Oily skin may fade faster than dry or normal skin.

βœ”οΈ Your lifestyle. Frequent sun exposure, swimming, and active skincare can speed up fading.

βœ”οΈ Your aftercare. Following the healing instructions helps protect your results and keep your brows looking beautiful longer.

Most clients schedule a color refresh every 12 to 24 months to keep their brows looking fresh and defined.

The goal isn't brows that last forever.

The goal is beautiful brows that age naturally with your face.

How often should you get your brows touched up? πŸ•’

Usually, a color refresh is recommended every 1 to 2 years, but it actually depends a lot on your skin type and brow color!

Dry or Normal Skin: Your touch-up will likely be around 18 months to 2 years.

Oily Skin: The color tends to fade a bit faster, so we recommend a refresh every 10 months to a year.

Brow Shade: Darker colors last longer, while lighter tones fade quicker!

What if you have sensitive skin or allergies? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! πŸ’–

If you’re nervous about how your skin will react, we can always do a Patch Test! We’ll apply a tiny bit of numb cream and pigment behind your neck or on your wrist to see how your skin responds after 24 hours.

STOP scrolling if you're thinking about getting your brows done for the first time. πŸ‘€

Most first time clients have the same questions and worries.

Here are 4 things I wish everyone knew before their appointment.

1. Your brows will not stay that dark.
The first few days are always the darkest. As your brows heal, the color softens by about 30 to 40%.

2. You approve your shape before we begin.
We carefully map your brows first, so you'll see the shape before any pigment is placed.

3. It's more comfortable than you think.
Most clients say it's easier than tweezing. A quality numbing cream helps keep you comfortable throughout your appointment.

4. Your touch up is part of the process.
Your first session creates the foundation. Your perfect healed result comes after your touch up.

Beautiful brows are not about following trends. They're about creating a shape that complements your face and saves you time every morning.

Can you get PMU done while pregnant or breastfeeding? πŸΌπŸ™…β€β™€οΈ

The short answer is: Definitely no. According to the Health Department regulations, we cannot perform permanent makeup procedures on clients who are pregnant or nursing.

Here is why we wait:

During pregnancy: We always prioritize the safety of the baby, as we don't know how external products or stress could affect them.

While breastfeeding: Your body can be highly sensitive, and since we use numbing cream, there's a risk it could potentially affect your breast milk.

Once you stop breastfeeding or transition to bottle feeding, we recommend waiting about 4 to 6 months before booking your appointment!

Your health and safety will always be our top priority at iBrows N Lashes. Feel free to leave any other questions in the comments! πŸ‘‡

Thinking about getting your brows done during your period? πŸ©ΈπŸ‘€

Here’s a little beauty truth: your skin is actually much more sensitive during those days! While we always do our best to keep you comfortable, you might feel a bit more soreness or discomfort than usual.

Anyone who tells you it doesn’t hurt at all is lying! πŸ˜‚ So if you want the most relaxing and pain-free experience possible, we highly recommend scheduling your appointment around your cycle.
