It's one of the most common questions we get, and the answer might surprise you.
PMU brows typically last 1 to 3 years.
How long your results last depends on a few factors:
✔️ Your skin type. Oily skin may fade faster than dry or normal skin.
✔️ Your lifestyle. Frequent sun exposure, swimming, and active skincare can speed up fading.
✔️ Your aftercare. Following the healing instructions helps protect your results and keep your brows looking beautiful longer.
Most clients schedule a color refresh every 12 to 24 months to keep their brows looking fresh and defined.

How often should you get your brows touched up? 🕒
Usually, a color refresh is recommended every 1 to 2 years, but it actually depends a lot on your skin type and brow color!
Dry or Normal Skin: Your touch-up will likely be around 18 months to 2 years.
Oily Skin: The color tends to fade a bit faster, so we recommend a refresh every 10 months to a year.
Brow Shade: Darker colors last longer, while lighter tones fade quicker!

Here are 4 things I wish everyone knew before their appointment.
1. Your brows will not stay that dark.
The first few days are always the darkest. As your brows heal, the color softens by about 30 to 40%.
2. You approve your shape before we begin.
We carefully map your brows first, so you'll see the shape before any pigment is placed.
3. It's more comfortable than you think.
Most clients say it's easier than tweezing. A quality numbing cream helps keep you comfortable throughout your appointment.
4. Your touch up is part of the process.
Your first session creates the foundation. Your perfect healed result comes after your touch up.
Beautiful brows are not about following trends. They're about creating a shape that complements your face and saves you time every morning.

Can you get PMU done while pregnant or breastfeeding? 🍼🙅♀️
The short answer is: Definitely no. According to the Health Department regulations, we cannot perform permanent makeup procedures on clients who are pregnant or nursing.
Here is why we wait:
During pregnancy: We always prioritize the safety of the baby, as we don't know how external products or stress could affect them.
While breastfeeding: Your body can be highly sensitive, and since we use numbing cream, there's a risk it could potentially affect your breast milk.
Once you stop breastfeeding or transition to bottle feeding, we recommend waiting about 4 to 6 months before booking your appointment!
