This trend hit me right in the feels 🥺 All of the younger versions of me that lead to who I am today would be so undeniably proud of the woman we became and are still becoming. It is hard to measure growth when you’re constantly moving the finish line…But sitting back and living the life you’ve always dreamed about having is truly priceless. 5 years ago I just wanted someone to love me. Now I have a husband and a daughter who love me endlessly. 5 years ago I stopped doing hair. Now I work behind the chair, teach about hair, am fully booked for weddings, worked NYFW, etc. 5 years ago I moved back home because I was lost. Now I am taking over the mortgage on my childhood home. I would love to go back in time and just hug the younger versions of me and say “Just wait, your time is coming and it’ll be beyond our wildest dreams girlie” 🥹 And that kid we said we’d never have is actually the coolest part of our life 🤪🥰 Until next time Kait ☕️ Credit to @jennaececelia for the original poem 📝 #coffeewithmyyoungerself #coffeedate #newenglandhairstylist #selflove #imetmyyoungerselfforcoffee #poetry 03/15/2025

NEW YORK FASHION WEEK: DAY FIVE ☕️ Our last down day so we wanted to make the most of it! We went exploring for a bit and then headed to @livebytheswordtattoo for some tattoos! Huge thank you to @scarytattoos @luna.ink15 and @longdaddytats for our permanent souvenirs 🩸 Before heading back to our hotel we went to @redken popup event! We got some fun product samples to try and some DELICIOUS free espressos ☕️ Once we got back to our hotel we took some time to create content and then headed to bed to prepare for our early morning show! 😴 #nyfw #redken #redkenacidicbondingconcentrate #sabrinacarpenter #nyctattoo #nycvlog #espresso 03/15/2025

NEW YORK FASHION WEEK: DAY FOUR 👠 It was SHOWTIME @thelab.shows 🎬 @kylaskreations__ and I teamed up for both looks! Our first show was @arial.12 and prep began at 10:30am and wrapped up around 1:30pm. The models walked at 2:00pm and it was so incredible to see our work on the runway! Our second show was @dafnevena and prep began at 2:30pm and wrapped up around 5:30pm, models walked at 6:00pm. We were super fortunate and had the same model @natalea.hillen for both looks and she was an absolute angel! None of these looks would’ve been possible without our INCREDIBLE team lead @lifeoflisag and our sponsors @bioionic @thewetbrush @sevenhaircare @goodyhair @christianmichaelhairextensions so THANK YOU so much 🫶🏻✨ #nyfw #arial12 #dafnevena #bioionicnyfw #bioionicstylist #wetbrush #sevenhaircare #goodyhair #christianmichaelextensions #nyfwcastings 03/15/2025

NEW YORK FASHION WEEK: DAYS TWO AND THREE 🌃 Day two was our first down day and we decided to go thrifting in Brooklyn with @nayaanasarahy @samanthabujarski_ @tiffaniandcompany_ @itsgabrionna @hairbyhadleymarie @hair.bygigirose @angieedoesmyhair @kylaskreations__ @cosmocarly @tiffanygray_inc At the end of the day @samanthabujarski_ gave us a cool view of the city! ✨ Day three was our second down day and I got to spend it with my lil lady Alaska! My husband’s side of the family has been watching her for the week in Long Island so they caught a train into the city! We took her to @campstores Bluey Experience and we had a BLAST! I was a Blue’s Clues kid growing up and I think I would’ve DIED to go to Steve and Blue’s house, so this was an incredible experience. Also, I thought she would be scared to meet Bluey and Bingo but she was smitten 🤣 After all the fun they took her back to Long Island and I went back to my hotel to go to bed because Day Four was show day 🫢 Stay tuned for Day Four 🎬👠 #nyfw #thriftingnyc #thrifting #nycthrift #campstore #bluey #blueyxcamp #vlog 03/15/2025

NEW YORK FASHION WEEK: DAY ONE 🚕 Our first day started at 9am. We attended our seminar with @lifeoflisag and @thelab.shows to go over our looks for each of the shows we would be participating in this week. It was a great experience to meet our team members and see all 30 of us in one place. On top of that, we received all of our awesome sponsorships from @bioionic @sevenhaircare @thewetbrush @goodyhair @christianmichaelhairextensions ! I cannot express my gratitude enough to these generous brands!! ✨ After we kicked off this incredible week we decided it was time for some coffee so we headed to @perkcoffeenyc and it was delicious 🤌🏻 We continued the day at @traderjoes and then @wolfnights before we went back to our hotel to get ready for our team welcome dinner! 🍴 Dinner was at 6pm at @carminesnyc but we decided to pit stop in Times Square with @kylaskreations__ before heading in! Dinner was such a blast and it was so great to see our team lead @lifeoflisag shine! We are so lucky to have Lisa 🥹🫶🏻 After the serious and sappy, came the shenanigans! @thejenniferslim and @nayaanasarahy definitely kept us entertained with their coffee beans ☕️ Lastly, we headed back to the hotel and headed to bed! 😴 Ready for our next adventure 🎈 #bioionicnyfw #bioionicstylist #bioionic #wetbrush #goody #sevenhaircare #christianmichaelextensions #thelab #nyfw #nyfwhair 03/15/2025
