When Beekeeping you have to bee handy, built a DIY Honey warming Cabinet, old freezer and a few parts, works like a charm!

When you leave one frame out for a week after installing a removal you did, they build! This comb was full of sweet goodness, we shared with friends yesterday! Very tasty!

Haven’t checked this swarm trap in 3 weeks, you learn! Should’ve checked it weekly like I was supposed to! Oh well, a full days work coming to remove these! Lots of bees, especially if they are in the trap!

Feeding them helps in building new
Comb in the spring when nectar is not abundant!
Fun fact it takes around 12 pounds of nectar or sugar/water for bees to produce 1pound of wax, this is what’s needed for them to build out comb for brood and honey stores upcoming!
