There has been many moments in my 9 months as self employed nail tech that i have contemplated and second guessed if i made the right decision. The unpredictability, (sometimes lack of) self discipline, and slow days would make me wonder if i should put the drill down for good.

I rarely ever get sentimental about a nail set, but today this set made me realize that being a nail tech is truly what i was put on earth to do. I had the privilege of giving this sweet girl her VERY FIRST set of nails, and to also teach her all the steps of getting your nails done. Introducing another young girl into the beauty world is something that is so special to me. For her, this is the first of many, but for me this is the most special set i’ve done so far.
