ohhh the dreaded “my old tech took 30 mins”, “my retention could go 4 weeks”, “i’ve had 16mm mega volume lashes for 10 years??? no way i have damage!” if you’ve heard this, said this or read this watch my horror stories highlight. i’ve been a lash artist for 5 years now & believe it when i say my times have exponentially decreased but even now for a high quality, feature focused, precisely weighted, isolated & bonded set — you’ll likely be in my chair for about 2 hours if you’re coming in for an extended fill or full set. and that’s okay! the right clients for you will understand what lash extensions really are and what it takes to keep them; time, investment, proper aftercare and a kick ass lash artist.♥️

in this economy be so real with me, WHY are we charging our clients for every minor detail?? they keep us in business, we need to consider them too!

these are things i ✨don’t✨charge for as a 5 year esthetician & lash artist

- same / next day appointments
as a home based artist taking a client same or next day is no big deal to me, if i can swing it i will ALWAYS get my girls in.

- removals with every full set
as an artist that rarely works over another previous techs work, even if it’s doable it may not be the best course of action longevity wise for my craft or my clients natural lashes. it wouldn’t be fair of me to charge my clients for my personal preference.

- lash baths (CASE BY CASE SCENARIO)
there’s a big difference to come in after a shift or workout needing a quick re-wash prior to application & if you’re caking makeup on, or around your lashes every day between your 2 week fills without proper aftercare or maintenance of your extensions. i’m experienced enough to see that at your returning appointments.

- changing your set or adding a pop of color
most changes in set density or color won’t change the time i’m able to lash, a special occasion or holiday where you want to be a bit fuller or get a little festive is always fun for me & you’re paying for the appointment & high quality lash extensions that you WANT at the end of the day.

nothing drastic and over powering — this is subtle, elevated natural beauty. lash extensions should never take away from what’s already there. only accentuate & compliment. taking into account facial structure, eye shape & always maintaining natural lash growth.
