-You can ask me about the time I swam with sharks and about how I’ll never do it again, and how I still have to avoid any sort of shark movie, picture, or story. Don’t even get me started on the shark exhibits at aquariums.

-The Amazon Robot “Alexa” was named after me, after I cat fished Jeff Bezos into falling in love with me. Hi Jeff!!!!!

I always say that I don’t think I could ever go back to having a boss 🤪(although all of my bosses have been very influential in my life and have taught me lots)!

I love working in the space I’ve created (with lots of help and time donated from others) doing my very own thing day in and day out!

I set my own schedule, see all of my favorite people everyday, hand pick my own high end products, execute on a level I can be proud of, and then go home to my personal life I’ve also created with care.

One of my favorite corrections I’ve done!

Color corrections aren’t always a bad thing, just means there’s some tweaking needed!

For this one I did a very dense back to back babylight and tapped out her ends.

I also added 7na + 8n on zone 1 (and dragged it down a little) in between foils to erase any unwanted & unpleasant lines while also giving it a natural effect!

Do you know what color this beauty’s underlying pigment is? 👇

Underlying pigment is all of the warm colors your hair is made up of! Have you ever been blonde and gone dark and it went green? 🤢 I’m gonna guess you were missing some underlying pigment.

Let’s break it down a little bit.

Blonde hair? Yellow underlying pigment.

Light brown hair? Yellow + a little orange pigment.

Medium brown hair? Orange pigment.

Dark brown hair? Orange + a little red.

Black hair? Red underlying pigment.

I think oftentimes we are scared of the red, orange, and yellow in our hair. But in reality, warmth and underlying pigment are what make our colors beautiful, especially a brunette!

Cause think for a second with me, why does a blonde sometimes go green when it’s dyed dark? It doesn’t have any depth and warmth to be able to house color that dark. It needs underlying pigment!

So next time you bleach your hair and look like Slim Shady, just know it’s a good thing, and say a prayer of gratitude for toners 🤪
