Well, I think it’s safe to say we made a core memory this weekend. 💙 ☘️🏈
surpassed Grace’s expectations.
From the possible scholarship offers, to the beautiful grounds of the campus, hearing that she can use Notre Dame facilities (like their pool), the FOOTBALL GAMES(!), and the amount of countries she can study abroad with credits that actually count towards her nursing major.
I have always said to her- “I wish you had the opportunity to go to an all girls school like I did, you would thrive in that environment.”
And here we are.
Walking down a hallway, I told Grace to put her sweatshirt on and take a quick picture. There was a girl walking towards us, Grace got a little shy and a little embarrassed thinking this girl would totally judge her. I said, “It’s not like that here, I promise. It’s different.” And sure enough as the girl passed she smiled and said, “I love that everyone takes pictures in this hallway, it’s so pretty.”
I think Grace understood what I meant from that moment.
Toss in a record breaking football game how could you not be overwhelmed with excitement?!
I’m so proud of my sweet Peany. 💕
