The Hearing Aid Factory

Please join us at The Hearing Aid Factory in a small prayer for all those that didn’t come home while serving the rest of us. This is a day of remembrance and it is not a “happy “ day. It is not a day for mattress sales and companies using this day as a sales gimmick should be ashamed of themselves. God bless all of those that didn’t come home suffering the greatest sacrifice and God bless all the families that stayed waiting for them.

The surgeon has cleared me for full duty. The physical therapist has also cleared me so Im back to normal. I want to thank you all for your prayers and well wishes. Im still learning how to walk but the surgeon said it might be up to a year for my brain and my body to get together.

Well, I’ve graduated from walker to my trusty cane. In two weeks I’m supposed to graduate to walking with nothing. The hip has given me no problems. The biggest challenge has been to re-learn how to walk with my new leg. Im also in the office 4 days a week. Fridays is therapy.

Meet the new bionic leg! They replaced the hip, extended and untwisted the leg I had for the last 35 years. Doctor told me today that it will take months to get used to it but Im allowed to start to fully use it. I will be in rehab for a while so for now we are going to keep our office hours on appointment only but I will be here every week at least 3 days a week. Thank you all for your patience and well wishes.

Im back against all odds and against doctors and wife’s nagging! Im in a wheel chair and walker as they want no weight on my leg. But im only here 2 to 3 times a week and for a few hours. Appointments are extremely important so please call me. Thank you all for your support.

Well, I made it with a new leg. It was much more than a total hip replacement. The doctor also extended my leg and rotated it to be straight. I thought that they would let me walk on my own but they want no weight on the leg for 4 to 6 weeks. Please don’t respond to this report because Im still very groggy and I don’t want to seem rude by not responding. Thank you for your well wishes and prayers.

A bit of change of plans: my surgery was moved to Thursday 15th of January. I will be in the office Monday to Wednesday 12 to 14th as long as I’m needed. I will be out of the office until Monday 26th when I pray I will be back. There will be family members in the office mainly to check on mail and phone calls but that’s about all they can do and I’m eternally grateful for them to be able to help. So please, if you need anything immediately, call me before Wednesday. It it can wait a week, I appreciate if you can wait. I will be in contact by email and messenger and Facebook. Thank you for your patience and understanding. The hip is about to fall off so they need to replace it asap.

My hip is finally on it’s last leg! Im getting a new hip on January 19th. So Im planning to be out that week and God willing I’ll be back on January 26. That is my plan, I will have to be driven to the office for a while but Im really hoping to be out just one week. So please, if you have any issues call me ASAP so I can get things done before. Especially if we have to send any hearing aids to the manufacturers this week is the cutoff.
