White braided whimsical wig I did for a friend.

The base wig was lacking density, so I snuck in some extra packs of weft in the crown area to fill out the braids a bit. Micro-crimped for added structure. 🫶🤗

Updated Wigs I did last year for Year 2 of “The Jungle Book”

For Bagheera, I added smaller braids running down the braided tail, along with adding an extra 15 inches in overall length, then topped it off with felt-backing for protection against the costume. Our actress had a lot of her own natural hair, so i enlarged the cap to a 25.5 inch size.

We also added a green and black wig for the rear puppeteer, with hand-tied tinsel.

It was a true honor and pleasure to have been apart of the opening team/hair crew for Universal Orlando’s Mega Movie Parade.

I want to thank every performer that sat in my chair week after week, thank you for trusting me in your personal-bubble and thank you for trusting me with the look of your characters. Getting to interact with you all was the best part of this experience ❤️

I wanted their age and wisdom to reflect the length of their braided tail. Purple was the Leader, Blue was the “right-hand”, Pink was the young and fun flirt.
The challenge was finding base wigs that had the correct color ombré. I was working with 3 very different base wigs and foundations. I made them all cohesive by hand tying tinsel all throughout and adding in braiding hair to the tails. I also added hairnets to the braid, and felt material to the back, sewn on with invisible thread to protect the braid. Last, I attached all the beautiful hats ( not made by me). It was a labor of love!

Hand-tied tinsel all throughout, crimped, styled/ braided and extensions added into the tail. After photo shoots, I added custom dyed hairnets and felt onto the braids for extra security. This took a-LOT of time.
