if you've been blonde for a while and want to go back to your natural i always recommend phasing your blonde out rather than going all dark in one shot! imo, the left over blonde will look alot more natural toned down & lowlights added to it & it will be less of a shock to see yourself dark again! 💆🏼‍♀️💁🏽‍♀️

girls be like "uuhh don't hate me plz but i used box dye" listen, i'm not a mean judge judy stylist what you do to your hair that you own attached to your body is yo business. i dont h8 however i have had a lot girls coming to see me lately who are done with their dark hair phase & now want to be a blonde. i never want anyone's expectations not be met especially when wanting to go significantly lighter, so it's important to have realistic expectations. so this is what your "blonde hightlights" will prob look like at your first appointment. if your goal is to be blonde you have to be okay w maybe not being blonde until after the 2nd or 3rd appointment. i love a good project so as long as you're okay with trusting, having patience and having $$(lol) im okay that you boxed your hair black i guess as long as you promise never again 🙃
