Cool story when I first met Joanne. Came in as a walk in. Always had a smile and would ask how my day was going. She'd ask if I'd eaten anything good lately then we'd start talking food. Or ask if I had any upcoming trips then we'd start talking places I've been. She spend Winters in Florida and Pittsburgh the rest of the year. I remember that last time I saw her. She came in specifically to say goodbye to me. Was heading back home.
it wasn't till the 3rd time in my chair that I realized her husband is. My dad wasn't doing too well then and she would ask about my dad by name. When I doubted myself she assure me that I will make the right decisions when the time comes.
I had the pleasure of calling Joanne Rodgers a friend. She will be missed.
